The Installation Service is a congregational event that formally recognizes the pastor's responsibility to their congregation. It emphasizes the pastor's role and responsibilities to lead worship, to teach, preach, care for and lead the congregation into the next chapter of St. John’s history. Further, the congregation is reaffirming its decision to call the new pastor, to promise to work with, pray with, and reach out to the community with her.
